Increase milk supply or FM??

Spt entry lepas, ade story pasal FM kan sbb stock EBM dh kurang..tp saje aku lengah2kn utk beli FM..belum bersedia rasanya nk bg sidia susu formula..since dlm perut lg aku dh nekad nk bg dia fully breastfeed sampai 2thn..tp ni br nk masuk 11bln, susu dh kurang..sesuatu mesti dilakukan dgn segera..so aku carik alternatif utk perbykkan susu instead of mengalah n bagi FM....

masa dlm pantang sampai dh keje awal2 dl aku amalkan minum longan kering..sgt berkesan sbb setiap kali pumping session mesti dpt lebih dr 6oz-8oz..thanx Noraida for the tips!!tp yg tak tahannya aku rasa mcm kena asma lak..may be longan ni sejuk kot..cepat je dpt batuk n kdg2 bernafas pn berbunyi..inila dia dried longan..


carik balik sume info2 pasal bf ni masa pregnant termasuklah buku2 n artikel2..then terjumpa satu artikel bertajuk "How To Increase Milk Supply" written by Shima from Mom's Litle Ones. So, here are some of so-called remedies which her have tried to encounter this problem. n my comment in purple font.

1) Consume certain food and drinks – for example Japanese green tea, clorophyll drink, 
     pucuk manis, ulam pegaga, papayas, dates
     japanese green tea n pucuk manis tak pernah cube lg..mcm payah je nak dpt, 
     chlorophyl pernah cube tp tak tahan dgn rasanya..huhu..ulam pegaga, betik n kurma dh
     cube..tp mcm takde perubahan.

2) Feed on demand and not the clock.
    Of course!!

3) Nurse every chance you have even if the baby does not initiate it.
     Every single second i have.

4) Express milk after feeding the baby. You are actually telling your body to produce more.
     Masa dlm pantang sgt rajin mengosongkan breast after breastfeed..Now dh tak buat
     sbb rasa mcm dia dh sedut habis..hehhe..

5) Get enough rest, calories and fluids. Don’t worry about dieting since nursing mothers
     usually get back in shape faster that mothers who bottle-feed their child.
     rest of cos not enuf,never have a sleep tight after being a mom. calories intake dh over
     kot. plain water mmg payah nk cukupkn 2L per day.diet??hmm i'm nursing mother for
     11mos, but to back in shape i think will take another year or 2year..kalu tak
     terpeknen..huhuuh

6) For working mothers, nurse baby the last thing in the morning (before going to work)
     and the first thing in the evening (right after coming back to work) and allow the baby
     free access to the breasts when at home and during weekends.
    the 1st thing in the morning and the last thing at the nite!!weekend is 24seven.

7) Do not use pacifiers.
    my son hisap jari..keturunan..   

8) If possible, use double pump. Double expression considerably reduces pumping time and
    promotes milk production. Research shows that double pumping increases the prolactin
    levels.
    guna medela fs..fo sure double pumping!!

9) Pump more at work. Instead of 2 pumping sessions add one more session.
     now buat 2 session jer kt opis..1session at home early in the morning..mlm je payah nk
     mengepam sbb sidia asyik bergayut jer..

then pernah try jugak fenugreek chocolate milk sbb fenugreek aka halba ni pn boleh increase milk supply..but nothing change..still sama even dh habis semuanya diminum..


last week aku try makan pil tambah susu beli dr farmasi, dh habis semua pil aku telan tp tidak juge membuahkan hasil..ape nk buat nehhh..

hrtu pernah jugak google pasal shaklee..supplement..tp tak pernah try lagi..ok ke erk?dlm Pa&Ma pn ade kluar psl shaklee ni edisi feb 11.

ade juge ckp minum milo or holicks n susu plus oat boleh tambah susu juga..tp hr2 bekpes bancuh milo dgn oat..tidak juga berkesan...so hrni mencuba balik makan lobak putih dgn brokoli..harap2 yg ni menjadikla...
utk sidia yg tersayang, akan aku usahakan sehingga berjaya..doa dan tawakal semoga Allah memberkati usaha aku ni..Amin
